Dong Ding translates as "Frozen Peak" and is the name of the mountain in Taiwan where the tea is cultivated. The original plants were brought from the WuYi mountains 150 years ago.
Our finest quality whole leaf Dong Ding Oolong (凍頂烏龍) is pan fried, rolled, dried and finally baked. It's fermentation (oxidation) is 15 -25%.
It has a delicate aroma and a light bodied, refreshing, smooth taste with a slight hint of peach.
