Ancient Tree Raw Pu'er Tuocha (古樹生普洱沱茶) is a type of Heicha (黑茶 - dark tea) that is fermented and pressed into shapes. This was traditionally done to make the tea easier to transport on the different trade routes from Southern China. The shape of this tea is called Tuocha (沱茶 - Tuo Tea) and the name comes from the trade routes on the Tuo River.

This type of Pu'er is called Sheng (生 - raw) and is made from "sun dried green raw tea" or "Zhong Shai Qing Mao Cha" It has a classic "Sheng" smokey profile with slight astringency followed by "Hui Gan" (回甘 - return sweet) this is a sweetness you feel after you have swallowed the tea.

The leaves were picked from wild Ancient tea trees (古樹 - Gu Shu) that are over 200 years old.
