From one of Sri Lanka's top estates, St Coombs FP is a fine example of the high quality tea that's produced during January to March. Monsoon rains, cool nights and dry periods all influence the growing of a large tea leaf with a high sap content. As FP (Flowery Pekoe) teas are notoriously labour intensive to produce, there are limited quantities available, but the wonderful flavour attained as exampled with this tea, is well worth the effort to source.
